Who is Stephanie McKay ? From the Bronx in New York, she was a professional dancer who worked with several modern dance companies like Jane Comfort, Amy Pivar and Urban Bush woman. After a serious knee injury she worked as a session vocalist and she was hired to sing in the studio and onstage by various artists to complement their sound and live show.
This album shows how gifted she is as a soul singer and songwriter whose music encompasses styles include elements of classic rock, funk, pop and hip hop. A beautiful voice indeed. Enjoy !
